Application and Entrance Requirements
and Financial Information
Application Information
Each applicant must have a high school diploma or GED. Applicants who are expected
to graduate from high school before the end of the 10 week class may apply,
but will not receive a certificate from Gwinnett Dental Career Academy until
they have shown proof of their high school diploma or GED. The application includes biographical information, references, and a
personal statement.
Applicants must submit:
- Application Form
- $25 non-refundable application fee ($50 after the initial application deadline)
- Personal Statement
- Copy of high school diploma
Applicants may be asked to interview either by phone or in person. The purpose
of the interview is to evaluate characteristics such as interest and attitude
and to review biographical information such as academics, work experiences
and career goals.
Our classes are usually completely full, we can not accept everyone who applies. It is best to apply early to secure your spot in the class. Applications accepted after the initial deadline will incur a $50 application fee.
Financial Information
Tuition is $3400, which includes all books and supplies. A $1000 deposit is necessary to hold a spot in the class. The balance may be paid on or before the first class, or in accordance with a payment plan. The entire balance must be paid before graduation.
Becuase we are a private institute, we can not accept government grants for financing. We do offer financing through CareCredit. Please go to www.carecredit.com for more information - enter "Gwinnett Dental Career Academy" for Doctor or Practice Name.
